Filippo Gambetta & Sergio Caputo
Filippo Gambetta (diatonic accordion) and Sergio Caputo (violin) perform in duo mostly folk dance music from Italy and France. The two artists play together both traditional music and new tunes and create a sound blend of dance melodies such as polkas, scottishes, bourrées with the colors and flavours of Mediterranean music. Selected Performances: Heiden Festival (Switzerland), UFF Festival (Italy), Fête 20 ans Association Les Eaux Blanches Fabrègues (France), Folk Festival Ried (Switzerland), Lago Folk Festival (Italy). Together with guitarist Carmelo Russo, they performed many national festivals including Etétrad, Civitella Alfedena Folk Festival, Forlimpopoli Popular Music Festival, Suq Genova, The Summer Solstice Festival, Suoni della Murgia, Concerts at the Abbey of San Fruttuoso Camogli. In spring 2019 they release their album Maestrale for the Italian label Visage Music, together with Carmelo Russo.
